New character posters have been released for the upcomingNosferatu, and yet Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok has yet to get a proper full look. I personally hope that the studio keeps him completely under wraps until the movie's release, as it's clear that the design is going to be very different from that of prior versions, and I would love for it to be a surprise while watching it, especially if it's as horrifying as I think it will be.

Is Jensen Ackles playing Batman in the DCU?
Batman will debut in the new DC Universe's The Brave and the Bold movie. The Boys star Jensen Ackles has been rumored to play Bruce Wayne, which James Gunn, the DCU's creative chief, has shot down. Ackles could still be cast as Batman; however, no actor has been chosen at the moment, with casting for the new Batman only starting when the movie has its script ready. Based on his dark and action-heavy roles in Supernatural and The Boys, as well as being the voice of Batman in DC's animated Tomorrowverse, Ackles would be perfect for the DCU's Dark Knight.

While some minds may gravitate to the likes of Jenna Ortega or Millie Bobby Brown for the role, I'd personally be intrigued to see Mckenna Grace's take on the character, as she's not only shown an incredible acting range in the recentGhostbustersmovie andA Friend of the Family, but also an interesting mix of introverted and extroverted personalities with her characters that I think would suit Rogue perfectly. Additionally, given the MCU has recast actors in the past, Grace's prior role as a young Carol Danvers could easily be a non-issue.

Who is the best live-action Superman actor?
Henry Cavill was the latest to take flight in theaters, but the DCEU's bleaker take on the Man of Steel never allowed him to truly shine. Brandon Routh had immense potential but was saddled with a boring movie. Tyler Hoechlin is a fantastic Clark Kent and Superman, being a top candidate. It is hard to put other actors above Tom Welling, as the star had ten seasons to develop his Clark Kent in Smallville. Ultimately, Christopher Reeve still stands as the most iconic take on Superman with a perfect dual performance, but David Corenswet could change things in 2025's Superman.

Despite the impending arrival of James Gunn's new DC Universe, there are still vocal fans who want to see Snyder finish his vision for the Justice League. Who should play the DCU's new Wonder Woman?
Gal Gadot is reportedly not coming back as the Wonder Woman of the new DC Universe. With the role up for grabs, there are a few actors who could take Diana Prince in interesting directions. A fan-favorite, Alexandra Daddario would nail the Greek mythology aspects of Wonder Woman's character after her role in the two Percy Jackson movies. That said, Andor's Adria Arjona is the candidate I currently like the most for the role, being able to imbue Diana with charisma and fierceness, which are both traits of the hero. Ana de Armas would be a great high-profile Wonder Woman choice.

How was Batman alive at the end of The Dark Knight Rises?
The Dark Knight Rises featured Batman's sacrifice to save Gotham, or at least it seemed to do so, as Bruce Wayne was later seen alive and well in the company of Selina Kyle. There are some theories as to how Bruce was alive, including a possible Lazarus Pit in connection to The Dark Knight trilogy's Ra's al Ghul and Bane's "The Pit" prison. However, The Dark Knight Rises teased how Christian Bale's Batman faked his death, as The Bat's autopilot had been fixed while Lucius Fox thought it was broken, so Bruce could have ejected himself before the bomb exploded.

Fast & Furious 11is expected to be the final mainline installment of the long-running action franchise, and already looks to be racing towards a filming start next year. Vin Diesel recently confirmed having seen some concept art for the movie, including seemingly teasing it will involve Paul Walker's Brian after the character's absence since Walker's death in 2013. WhileFurious 7had the difficult task of concluding its filming and sending Brian off in a meaningful fashion, it did so pretty well with some well-executed CGI of the late actor, which makes the possibility of his return troublesome. As a fan of the franchise, it's hard to deny Brian's absence has been felt deeply these past few films, but out of respect for Walker and avoiding undermining the emotional ending he got, I don't think he should come back forFast & Furious 11.

Should Channing Tatum get his own Gambit movie?
Channing Tatum finally takes on the role of Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine and fans are loving it, myself included. One of the best "cameos" of the movie, his performance is being prasied all over social media. I would love to see Channing return as Gambit, however it is hard to say when a Gambit movie would fit into the MCU's plans. After just this small taste of him, I cannot see anyone else in the role. He did a great job with the accent, and he looked incredible in the costume - not to mention those awesome action sequences. If he is not able to get his own movie, I hope he pops up along the way in movies like Avengers vs. X-Men (whenever we get it).

Is Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom good casting?
During Marvel’s 2024 Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. will be playing Doctor Doom in the MCU. Though Doctor Doom is a good replacement for Kang, Robert Downey Jr.’s casting has caused mixed reactions. I’m happy to see RDJ back in the MCU, but I might have a hard time seeing him as anyone but Iron Man. I hope Doctor Doom will be an Iron Man variant in the MCU rather than the franchise ignoring Robert Downey Jr.’s history as the superhero.

What is the most underrated war movie of all time?
War movies like Apocalypse Now and Saving Private Ryan stand out as the most distinguished war films of their respective eras, but there are some unbelievable classics that slipped through the cracks and never achieved commercial popularity. Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line is my favorite war movie and it's one that I insist is underrated and underappreciated. Not only is Malick one of the most impressive visual directors ever, but the cast is filled with A-list actors, and it's got a stunning musical score

Who Was The Best Minor Love Interest In The Harry Potter Movies?
Throughout the Harry Potter franchise, the Golden Trio had multiple love interests before Harry and Ginny, as did Ron and Hermoine, ended up together. There’s been much debate over the years regarding whether these were the best Harry Potter couples or if some other love interests fit better for the characters. I started thinking about this when Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Afshan Azad (Padma Patil) reunited. Though I don’t think Padma and Ron were meant for each other, I liked the idea of Cho Chang and Harry together, even though they weren’t each other's dates to the Yule Ball.

Doomsday returned in Superman & Lois' latest episode. The character had already played a major role at the end of season 3 and the start of season 4. However, Doomsday's return in Superman & Lois season 4, episode 9, saw the monster receive a new look. With bigger bone protrusions, I believe the DC series now easily has the best live-action version of Doomsday. Not only is the creature important plot-wise, but Doomdsay also looks perfect.

Should there be a live-action movie of The Simpsons?
Rumors of a live-action movie of The Simpsons starring Adam Sandler are false, but maybe it’s not a bad idea. I think it would be a bit odd seeing The Simpsons characters in live-action form, especially with their unique yellow character design. So while a live-action movie might not work, I would like to see another Simpsons movie. It’s been over 15 years since The Simpsons Movie, which I think it is excellent, so it’s about time they moved back to the big screen.

What is the best Friday the 13th movie?
It’s officially Friday the 13th, which means everyone should be having a Friday the 13th movie marathon. Unfortunately, not all of them are worth the watch, particularly the strange switch to sci-fi, Jason X. Though the original Friday the 13th is a great movie that sets up the rest of the franchise, I think Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter is the best of the bunch. The Final Chapter is a great slasher film with a cool 80s feel to it. I’d consider it an instant classic.

While it seems unlikely he'll reprise the role beyond the movie, fans have been sharing their thoughts on who Cavill should play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since he made his debut as Superman in the DC Extended Universe'sMan of Steel. Though Captain Britain and Cyclops remain the more popular choices, I personally think it would be intriguing to see him either play Nova, particularly since there's a TV show in the works for the character, or even Mephisto, as I think he could both deliver on the Devil's power as much as evil charm.

It's been a pretty big year for acting, with many predictions calling for Timothée Chalamet inA Complete Unknown, Adrien Brody inThe Brutalist, Colman Domingo inSing Sing, Ralph Fiennes inConclaveand Paul Mescal inGladiator IIto get the nominations. Personally, while Russell Crowe may have won the award for Ridley Scott's original historical epic, I kind of think Mescal will be looked over come awards season, which could leave the door open for Craig to get nominated.

How do you feel about Ryan Reynolds making a new Mighty Mouse movie?
It was recently revealed that Ryan Reynolds is teaming withFree Guyco-writer Matt Lieberman to develop a newMighty Mousemovie adaptation, and I find myself somewhat mixed on the matter. While it's a character I certainly am open to seeing come back to the screen, and, for the most part, I've enjoyed Lieberman's work on screen, particularly withFree Guyand theChristmas Chroniclesfranchise, he does have a far bigger miss-to-hit ratio. Being part of the team behind 2020'sScoob!, in particular, makes me quite worried, because while he may not have been the only writer on that film, it was a prime example of a terrible modern update on a beloved animated franchise. Plus, with Reynolds' own shaky record of late, evidenced by the muted responses toRed NoticeandHitman's Wife's Bodyguard, among others, this may not be the dream team.
