A monostable circuit is a simple circuit that converts a sustained signal into a short pulse. These are useful for button-activated machines and machines where you want the same action performed whether a switch is flipped on or off. There are three types of monostable circuits: Rising-edge monostable circuits send a pulse when their input changes from off to on. These can be made by directing the input signal into a sticky piston pushing an observer with some redstone dust on the output side of

On-pulses are usually just called "pulses" unless there is a need to differentiate them from off-pulses. An off-pulse is when a redstone signal turns off, then on again. The pulse length of a pulse is how long it lasts. Short

When using a monostable circuit if I use the button to power the initial Redstone dot it will work as expected. Whereas, when I power the Redstone dot using a repeater it won't work. For example, I'm using this monostable circuit in conjunction with a block swapper that allows me to pull in a block and then swap it with another (I'm hoping to use this as a means of storing items, the blocks would be barrels in this case). But because of this bug, I can no longer power it via a button on the wall.
